The American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) has actively engaged in promoting blockchain technology through various seminars and workshops. On March 27, 2022, the AIUB Computer Club organized a seminar titled "Blockchain Technology and Call for Participation in BCOLBD 2022." Held in the Multipurpose Hall of D Building, the event featured several distinguished speakers:
The seminar commenced with an introduction by the hosts, Tahsinul Hoque and Samiha Hossain, members of the AIUB Computer Club. Mr. Onik provided insights into blockchain technology, explaining its mechanisms, patterns, and structures, and discussed its potential impact on the future. Mr. Rabbani elaborated on blockchain processes, system management, security, and privacy aspects, drawing parallels with various phases of computer engineering. Mr. Al-Amin introduced the Blockchain Olympiad Bangladesh (BCOLBD), highlighting AIUB's significant achievements in previous editions, with five out of the top ten teams being from AIUB. He detailed the team formation process and task management strategies for the competition. Mr. Zaman guided attendees on the registration procedures for BCOLBD 2022. Concluding the seminar, Ms. Sharmin emphasized the benefits of participating in the Olympiad and its relevance to students' professional growth.

Furthering its commitment to blockchain education, AIUB's Department of Management Information Systems hosted a seminar titled "Empowering Agribusiness with Blockchain Technologies" on July 30, 2023. The keynote speaker, Mr. Sayed Zubaer Hasan, CEO of "Krishi Shwapno," discussed blockchain's transformative potential in agribusiness, emphasizing transparency and trust in the agricultural supply chain. He addressed challenges such as food traceability and equitable pricing, illustrating how blockchain can enhance efficiency and sustainability in agribusiness.
